1. What does Alba Espresso provide?
We provide the espresso machine, regular and decaffeinated espresso, filtered water, hot chocolate, whipped cream, milk and syrups. Upon request, we will also provide stirrers, sugar/sweeteners and disposable cups and napkins. We do not provide china cups/saucers, tables or table linens.
2. What is your deposit policy?
The deposit is 25% of the total bill and is required to hold the date. Refunds of deposit are as follows: 60 days plus – receive full refund of deposit, 30 days plus – 50% of deposit, 29 days or less - no refund.
3. What does the caterer/venue need to provide?
We need an 8-foot table with table linens, access to an outlet and china cups/saucers (but we can bring disposable cups and napkins, sugar/sweeteners upon request).
If 2 espresso machines are required, we will need a 60-amp drop to ensure that both machines can run on the electricity at the site. (Each machine pulls 15 amps).
4. How do I book an event with Alba Espresso?
Call Alba Espresso at 240.423.0103 to check availability and to obtain a quote. A contract will be sent for you to sign. The deposit must be paid at that time. The balance is due at the time of the event.
5. Which method of payments are accepted?
We accept American Express, Discover, VISA credit cards or checks with a driver's license.
6. How long will Alba Espresso stay at the event?
The length of time that the espresso bar is open is based upon the number of guests, usually two to three hours. However, we will be happy to accommodate your event needs.
7. Which geographical areas do you serve?
We serve the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area including the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia and Maryland. An additional fee may be applied for events outside of our service area.
